Senior Supply Chain Coordinator (Contract)

We are seeking a Senior Supply Chain Coordinator Contractor to provide support to the Manufacturing team. This position reports to the Supply Chain Senior Manager and will be a hybrid role based in Emeryville, CA. Duration could be 6+ months, but length of contract will be dependent on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the time critical and temperature sensitive materials from Hospitals/Intake Centers/Cell Therapy Labs, including logistics, material movement, and collaboration with transportation providers and customs brokers as needed.
- Support Patient Operations in distribution of cell therapy therapeutics globally.
- Coordinate Order Management processes, including order generation, changes, shipment, and delivery scheduling.
- Collaborate cross functionally with Patient Operations, CMC, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Quality teams, and CMO partners to execute logistics to meet patient schedules.
- Monitor material movement and communicate logistics updates to key stakeholders.
- Coordinate with logistics couriers, external warehouses/depots, and other suppliers.
- Coordinate with Kyverna program leads, CMC/development teams, and suppliers to provide proposals and place purchase requisitions for material procurement.
Qualifications:
- An Associate’s degree with at least 2 years of experience, or a Bachelor’s degree, is required
- Ability to work with multiple digital systems for procurement, order scheduling, and updating / tracking data.
- Ability to “project manage” procurement orders from order placement through delivery/order closeout.
- Support invoicing activities as needed.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills – attention to detail required.
- Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills including presentations and ability to influence all levels of staff, including executives.
In addition to the above qualifications - 3+ years work experience in healthcare is preferred with any combination of experience in:
- Supply Chain / Manufacturing
- Global Trade Compliance
- Clinical Trial Logistics
- CAR-T or Cell & Gene Therapy
- Clinical Trial Site Management
- Clinical Trial Distribution Project Management
