Sunetra Biswas, PhD, is Vice President, Program lead at Kyverna Therapeutics. Trained as a cancer immunologist with an extensive background in heme malignancies and drug development, Sunetra brings over 10 years of experience across preclinical development, CMC, tech transfers, operations from clinical to commercial stage. Most recently, she served as Program Lead of next generation pipeline program at Kyverna where she led the preclinical development strategy as well as deliverables required for IND across clinical, non-clinical, IP and CMC.

Before joining Kyverna, Sunetra was the Senior Director of Analytical Sciences at Instil Bio, where she built a team of 30+ members across US and UK to support development, testing, and GMP support for tumor infiltrating lymphocytes (TIL) therapy. Prior to Instil Bio, Sunetra was the Director of Analytical Operations at Kite, a Gilead company where she drove the analytical lifecycle management strategies for vectors, raw materials, and products. She was also the Analytical Product Team Lead for Kite’s commercial product, YESCARTA® and TECARTUS®.
Sunetra has a PhD in Cellular and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine, an MS in Pharmaceutical Science and Pharmacology from Northeastern University and an undergraduate Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from University of Mumbai.
